Skydd I, II, II
Photo series, 39 x 26 cm, 2021
Oak frame and glass

The photo series Skydd (eng. translation protection) are showing different types of protective measures made against evil spirits, found at the Bunge Museum on Gotland, Sweden. In the 1600-1700s people believed that evil spirits could bring illness or bad crops by entering one's home, and that steel and crosses could have protective powers.
